It’s currently winter time in Montreal, Canada. Most days we want to stay at home and wait it out until summer comes around. We’re all feeling a bit more sad and alone than we do on average around this time.
What we need to be doing is understanding that during the Winter we will be less active and we will have to be indoors more often, but we need to take this time to plan ahead.
We can’t fight Mother Nature, “nature always laughs last” as Joel Salatin said.
We need to use this time to figure out what our goals will be for the summer time which is when we will be more active. If we want to be fit for summer, we need to plan a workout/diet that we will start to work on during the winter.
If we are starting a business, we need to plan the industry we want to enter now (in the winter cycle of our business) so we can start operating and have revenues in the future (the summer cycle of our business).
Winter is the time when New Years arrives and everyone has their goals and new resolutions for the year. But not many people keep their action plan during the winter so that their goals are realized in the summer. That is where the true problem lies.
